The Stakemate sign up offer is bet £10, get £20 in free bets. New customers who opt in and place a £10 bet on any market at odds of 1/1 (2.0) or bigger get 4 x £5 free bets, credited within 24 hours of the bet settling. No promo code is mentioned in the terms. The offer ends at midnight on 1 December 2026.

How to claim the Stakemate free bets
- Download the Stakemate app. Stakemate is app-based; its terms refer throughout to the mobile application.
- Register as a new customer. You can’t already hold a Stakemate account.
- Opt in to the Sportsbook Welcome Promotion.
- Set a deposit limit, then deposit using any method except Revolut. Stakemate’s terms give a £5 minimum deposit.
- Place a £10 bet on any market at odds of 1/1 (2.0) or bigger. Don’t cash it out.
- Wait for the bet to settle. Win or lose, the 4 x £5 free bets should arrive within 24 hours.
The qualifying bet must settle before midnight on 1 December 2026, so a bet on an event after that date won’t count.
Stakemate free bet rules
The free bets are where this offer gets harder than the headline suggests:
- Three selections minimum. Each £5 free bet must go on a bet with at least 3 selections at total odds of 3.0 or more.
- Stake not returned. Returns exclude the free bet stake. A £5 free bet on a treble at 4.0 returns £15, not £20.
- Expiry on the token. Stakemate doesn’t give a fixed expiry in the offer terms; the date is shown on each token in the app.
- Revolut excluded. Stakemate says payments via Revolut won’t trigger the welcome free bets.
A three-leg multiple at 3.0 is less likely to win than a single at evens, so these tokens are worth less than £20 in practice. Our guide to how free bets work explains stake-not-returned maths, and the accumulator guide covers why multiples win less often.
Group bets explained
Stakemate describes itself as a social betting app built around group bets with friends. Some of its promotions offer free group bets, which need at least one other member of your group to place the bet. Its terms also warn that an accepted group bet can be voided because of another customer’s actions. If you bet with friends, agree stakes in advance and keep them within each person’s own budget, and never feel pressured to join a bet.
Refer a mate
Stakemate’s promotions page (checked by us on 20 October 2026) lists a refer-a-friend offer: when a referred friend places a £10+ bet at 2.0+ and it settles, you both get a £5 free bet (3 selections, 3.0+ odds), credited within 72 hours. Stakemate says it will withhold rewards where accounts appear to be connected. Only refer people you know are 18 or over and who want to bet.
Existing customer offers
The same promotions page lists a Daily Prize Draw (free to enter once you’ve made at least one deposit; prizes may include free bets, cash, free spins or nothing), Bet Boosts for eligible customers, and a Bet Rewards Club being released to a limited group. Loyalty schemes are designed to keep you betting, so treat them as a bonus, never a reason to bet.
Why isn’t my Stakemate free bet showing?
- The bet hasn’t settled yet. Free bets are credited within 24 hours of settlement, not placement.
- Odds were too short. The qualifying bet needed 1/1 (2.0) or bigger.
- You cashed out. Cashed-out bets don’t qualify.
- You deposited with Revolut. Revolut deposits are excluded.
- You didn’t opt in, or you’ve had a Stakemate account before.

Frequently asked questions
Does Stakemate need a promo code? No promo code is mentioned in Stakemate’s offer terms. You opt in to the Sportsbook Welcome Promotion, then place a £10 bet at odds of 1/1 (2.0) or bigger. The 4 x £5 free bets are credited within 24 hours of the bet settling (checked 21 October 2026).
What are the Stakemate free bet rules? Each £5 free bet needs at least 3 selections at total odds of 3.0 or more. Returns exclude the free bet stake, and the expiry date is shown on each token in the app. The free bets can’t be withdrawn as cash; only any winnings can.
Does Revolut qualify for the Stakemate offer? No. Stakemate’s offer terms say deposits made using Revolut don’t qualify and won’t trigger the welcome free bets. Use another payment method if you want to claim, and remember the offer ends at midnight on 1 December 2026.
Can existing customers get Stakemate free bets? The welcome offer is for new customers only. Existing customers can enter Stakemate’s Daily Prize Draw after one deposit and may receive refer-a-friend free bets, Bet Boosts or targeted promotions. Check the app’s promotions page for what’s available to you.
When does the Stakemate offer end? Midnight on 1 December 2026. Your £10 qualifying bet has to settle before then, so avoid events that finish after that date. After the deadline, check Stakemate’s promotions page for any replacement offer.
