Last checked 22 October 2026 by Tom Perkins. Offer terms taken from the bookies.com NetBet welcome offer page (dated 19 October 2026) and the GamCheck NetBet listing, both read on 22 October 2026. NetBet’s own promotions page loads its terms with JavaScript we couldn’t read, so check the terms on NetBet before you deposit.

The NetBet sign up offer is £20 in free bets: place a £10 bet at odds of 1/1 (2.00) or bigger as a new customer and you get four £5 free bets. The catch is that each £5 is locked to one type of bet (a football bet builder, a football acca, a horse racing acca and an in-play tennis bet), and all four expire after 7 days. No promo code is listed.

Significant terms: 18+. New UK customers only. Bet £10 at min. odds 1/1 (2.00) to get 4 x £5 free bets: 1 x £5 Football Bet Builder, 1 x £5 Football Acca, 1 x £5 Horse Racing Acca, 1 x £5 Tennis In-Play. Free bets valid 7 days. Free bet stakes are not returned. Exclusions and full T&Cs apply.

Not fully confirmed: the same bookies.com page shows two versions of the small print. One adds “Opt in under Sports Quests within 7 days of registering” and says the qualifying bet needs at least one football selection and excludes horse racing. We couldn’t confirm which wording is current, so assume you need to opt in and make your qualifying bet a football bet until NetBet’s own terms say otherwise.

How do you claim the NetBet sign up offer?

  1. Register at NetBet and complete the identity checks (have photo ID ready in case it asks).
  2. Look for an opt-in (reported under “Sports Quests”) and opt in if it is there.
  3. Deposit at least £10 with a debit card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. E-wallet deposits are reported as excluded.
  4. Place a £10 bet at odds of 1/1 or bigger. To be safe, include a football selection.
  5. Once it settles, the four £5 free bets appear in your account. Use each one on its own bet type within 7 days.

Is the NetBet offer worth it?

£20 for a £10 qualifying bet is a fair ratio, but four £5 tokens on fixed bet types are less flexible than a single free bet you can use anywhere. If you only bet on football, the tennis in-play and racing acca tokens may go unused, and acca tokens on long odds lose more often than they win. Each £5 token returns winnings only, not the £5 stake. If those bet types suit you, it’s a reasonable start; if not, a plainer offer from our free bets list may be worth more to you.

Is NetBet licensed in the UK?

Yes. On 22 October 2026 the Gambling Commission public register listed Netbet Enterprises Limited (account 39170, head office in Msida, Malta) with active remote licences for general betting (real and virtual events), pool betting and casino, held since 2017. Its UK site is sport.netbet.co.uk.

How it compares

For offers we track every week, see our free bets hub, and for full bookmaker reviews see UK betting sites. If you are new to welcome offers, how free bets work explains why a £10 free bet is worth less than £10 in cash (the stake is not returned).

Staying in control

A welcome offer is a reason to try a bookmaker, not a reason to bet more than you planned. Decide on a budget before you deposit, and use NetBet’s deposit limits, time-outs and self-exclusion tools if you need them. GAMSTOP blocks you from every UK-licensed gambling site at once, for 6 months, 1 year or 5 years. Free, confidential help is available from BeGambleAware and the National Gambling Helpline on 0808 8020 133, 24/7. Our responsible gambling guide has more.

We have no commercial deal with NetBet, and there are no affiliate links on this page. We don’t earn anything if you join.
