How do you claim the BetUK free bets?
- Register at BetUK and select the Sports Welcome Offer during sign-up.
- Set a deposit limit, then deposit at least £10.
- Within 7 days, place a bet of at least £10 at odds of 1/1 (2.0) or bigger. Each-way bets need £10 each way (£20 total), and a Bet Builder counts as one bet with total odds of 1/1+.
- Avoid virtual sports, esports and horse racing outside the UK and Ireland, which don’t count.
- When the bet settles, win or lose, the four free bets are credited. Select them via the betslip checkbox.
What are the BetUK free bet terms?
- Multiples only. Two £10 free bets need football accas with 4+ selections; two need sports multiples with 2+ selections. None can be used on a single.
- 7-day expiry. Unused free bets expire after 7 days.
- Stake not returned. A £10 free bet on a double at 4.0 returns £30, not £40.
- What doesn’t qualify: free bets, profit and odds boosts, void, cashed-out, partially cashed-out and system bets.
- Once only and not with other offers.
Because all four tokens go on multiples, they’re less likely to win than free bets on singles. Read how free bets work and our guide to accumulator bets before using them.
What could the BetUK free bets return?

Our own worked examples: the free bet stake isn’t returned, so a winning token pays the winnings only. A four-fold at 10.0 has an implied chance of about 10% before the bookmaker’s margin (see implied probability explained), so most acca free bets lose.
Does BetUK exclude any payment methods?
The BetUK offer terms we checked don’t list excluded payment methods. BetUK has a page about depositing with Apple Pay, and its general terms say credit cards aren’t accepted (you can’t legally bet with a credit card in the UK: see can you bet with a credit card). Can existing BetUK customers get free bets?
BetUK’s offer page says the £40 offer is for new customers only, and mentions a weekly £5 free bet offer for existing customers. We haven’t verified the terms of that weekly offer, so check BetUK’s promotions page for current conditions.
Are BetUK and BetMGM the same company?
BetUK and BetMGM are both run by LeoVegas Gaming PLC (Gambling Commission account 39198) and their welcome offers have the same structure. The offer is once per customer, so check the terms if you already hold an account with a sister brand. Read our full BetUK review and BetMGM review.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need a BetUK promo code? No. BetUK’s welcome offer doesn’t use a promo code: you select the Sports Welcome Offer when you register. Then deposit £10 and place a £10 bet at odds of 1/1 or bigger within 7 days to get 4 x £10 free bets (checked 21 October 2026).
When do BetUK free bets expire? Seven days after they’re credited. BetUK’s terms say unused free bets expire after 7 days, and its offer page says its free bets typically carry a 7-day expiry. Plan your multiples before the tokens arrive so you don’t feel rushed.
What are the BetUK minimum odds? Your £10 qualifying bet needs odds of Evens 1/1 (2.0) or bigger. A Bet Builder must total 1/1 or more, and each-way bets need £10 each way. The free bets themselves must go on football accas of 4+ legs or sports multiples of 2+ legs.
Can I use BetUK free bets on singles? No. Two of the £10 free bets are for football accumulators with at least four selections, and two are for sports multiples with at least two selections. None of the four tokens can be used on a single bet.
Is BetUK the same company as BetMGM? Yes. Both brands are run by LeoVegas Gaming PLC, Gambling Commission account 39198, and the welcome offers share the same structure. The offer is once per customer, so check the terms if you already hold a sister-brand account.
