Search for “free spins no deposit” and you’ll find long lists. In reality, genuine no deposit spins from UK-licensed casinos are rare, small and tightly restricted. When we checked the welcome offers of the casinos in this section on 20 October 2026, none offered spins without a deposit. This page explains why, what these offers usually look like when they do appear, and what to check.

How rare are no deposit free spins in the UK?
Very rare. The welcome offers we checked directly – Midnite and MrQ – both need a deposit (£20 plus £20 of play at Midnite; £10 at MrQ). Several factors make no deposit offers uncommon in Great Britain:
- You must pass age and identity verification before you can gamble at all, so a casino can’t hand out spins to anonymous visitors.
- Operators must design incentives in a socially responsible way, and since 19 January 2026 can’t attach more than 10x wagering – which used to be how operators limited the cost of no deposit bonuses.
- Offers are limited to one per person, household, device and payment method, and abuse rules are strict.
We haven’t found and verified a current UK no deposit free spins offer on an operator’s own terms. If we do, we’ll add it to the list above with its full terms. Be cautious of sites that list dozens: many link to unlicensed casinos or to offers that ended long ago.
Typical T&Cs on no deposit spins
From the way these offers are generally structured, expect some or all of the following – and check the operator’s own significant terms, because these are not guaranteed to apply to any particular offer:
- A small number of low-value spins, often on one named slot.
- Verification first – sometimes including adding a debit card, even if you don’t deposit.
- A winnings cap – a maximum you can withdraw from the spins.
- A short expiry – often 24 to 72 hours.
- Wagering on winnings – now capped at 10x – or a requirement to deposit before you can withdraw winnings.
- Max stake while wagering, and a list of excluded games.
How to judge a no deposit offer
- Check the casino is on the Gambling Commission register, with the exact domain you’re using.
- Find the winnings cap and the expiry. If the cap is £10 and the expiry is 24 hours, that’s the realistic value.
- Check whether you need to deposit before you can withdraw. If so, it isn’t really “no deposit”.
- Remember that a no deposit offer is still designed to get you playing with your own money afterwards. Set a limit before you start.
Better-value alternatives
A small deposit offer with no wagering can be more useful than a no deposit offer with a cap and a short expiry. UK rules that shape every casino offer
- 10x wagering cap. Since 19 January 2026, a licensed operator must not apply a wagering requirement of more than 10 times to bonus funds (Gambling Commission, LCCP Social Responsibility Code 5.1.1(3a)). The Commission’s own example of the old problem: a £10 bonus at 50x meant £500 of play before you could withdraw.
- No mixed-product promotions. From the same date, a single incentive can’t combine betting, casino, bingo and lottery (SR Code 5.1.1(3b)). The Commission says “Spend £5 on casino products and get 20 spins” is compliant, but “Bet £5 and get 20 free spins” is not.
- Slot stake limits. The most you can stake per online slot game cycle is £5 if you’re 25 or over and £2 if you’re 18–24. The £5 limit started on 9 April 2025 and the £2 limit on 21 May 2025. These limits apply to online slots only, not to roulette, blackjack or other table games.
- No credit cards. Since 14 April 2020, licensed operators can’t accept credit card payments for online gambling, including through e-wallets funded by a credit card.
Staying in control
Casino games are fast and continuous. Before you claim any offer, set a deposit limit (UK-licensed casinos must give you the tools), decide how much you’re prepared to lose, and turn on reality checks. Never deposit more to “unlock” a bonus you weren’t planning to play for anyway. If you want a break from all UK-licensed gambling sites at once, GamStop is free and lets you self-exclude for 6 months, 1 year or 5 years. The National Gambling Helpline (0808 8020 133) is free and confidential. More help is on our responsible gambling page.

They may. Since 19 January 2026, wagering can’t be more than 10x.
Why do I need to verify my ID for no deposit spins?

Can I win real money from no deposit spins?
Possibly, but usually with a cap on what you can withdraw. Check the terms.

Can you win real money from no deposit free spins?
Yes, in principle. Spin winnings from a UK-licensed casino are real money once any wagering is complete, but the amounts are small. A typical 10-spin no deposit offer at 10p a spin is £1 of play. The expected return on a slot with 96% RTP is around 96p, before any cap on winnings. Since 19 January 2026 UK casinos can’t demand more than 10x wagering on bonus winnings, which helps, but a maximum-win cap or a short expiry can still mean you walk away with little or nothing.
Are “10 free spins no deposit” offers worth it?
They are worth taking only if three things are true: the casino is on the Gambling Commission register, the terms state the spin value and any win cap upfront, and you were going to try that casino anyway. They aren’t worth handing over ID documents to a site you’ve never heard of. If a site offers dozens of no deposit spins with no wagering and no cap, be suspicious and check the licence first. Here’s how to check a gambling site is safe.
Lowest-deposit spins offers we have verified
We checked again on 21 October 2026. Neither of the spins offers we list is no deposit. Midnite needs a £20 deposit and £20 staked for 100 x 10p spins (£10 of spins in total; wagering on spin winnings isn’t stated on the offer page). Unibet needs £30 deposited and staked on slots for 300 x 10p spins, with 10x wagering on winnings. Full significant terms are shown beside each offer above.
