A no wagering casino bonus means winnings from the bonus or spins are paid as cash, which you can withdraw without having to play them through first. It’s the clearest kind of casino offer, and since the Gambling Commission capped wagering at 10x in January 2026, the gap between “no wagering” and everything else is smaller – but it still matters. Here’s how no wagering offers work, how to read their terms, and the honest answer on free spins with no deposit or wagering.

What “no wagering” means
With a wagering requirement, you must stake a multiple of the bonus (or bonus winnings) before you can withdraw. With no wagering, there’s no such multiple: any winnings go straight to your real money balance. Read more in our guide to wagering requirements explained.
No wagering doesn’t mean no conditions. Offers can still have a deposit requirement, a minimum spend, an eligible game, an expiry and sometimes a winnings cap.
Real examples of no wagering free spins (checked 20 October 2026)
- MrQ: says “all our promotions are 100% wagering free”. Its welcome offer is 100 free spins on Big Bass Splash at 10p each when you deposit £10 or more, to be used within 48 hours, with winnings “uncapped and credited to your real money balance”.
- PlayOJO: says on its PayPal page that it is “against wagering requirements” and that winnings from free spins are yours to keep. We couldn’t load the current UK welcome offer terms, so check them on PlayOJO’s site.
Midnite’s casino welcome spins don’t state a wagering requirement on its offer page, but they don’t explicitly say “no wagering” either, so we haven’t listed them here.
No wagering vs 10x wagering: does it still matter?
Yes. Suppose you win £8 from £10 of spins. With no wagering, that’s £8 you can withdraw. With 10x wagering, you’d need to stake £80 before withdrawing – and since slots have a house edge, you’d expect to lose some of that £8 along the way. Before 19 January 2026, offers of 35x or more were common, so the cap has helped, but no wagering is still simpler and, for most people, worth more.
What to check in no wagering terms
- Qualifying deposit or spend – is it a deposit you keep, or stakes you must play first?
- Spin value and game – 10p or 20p, and which slot.
- Expiry – often 48 hours or 7 days.
- Winnings cap – MrQ’s welcome spins said uncapped; others may not be.
- Payment exclusions – some casinos exclude methods; see PayPal casinos UK.
- One offer only – most limit the welcome offer to one per person, household and device.

UK rules that shape every casino offer
- 10x wagering cap. Since 19 January 2026, a licensed operator must not apply a wagering requirement of more than 10 times to bonus funds (Gambling Commission, LCCP Social Responsibility Code 5.1.1(3a)). The Commission’s own example of the old problem: a £10 bonus at 50x meant £500 of play before you could withdraw.
- No mixed-product promotions. From the same date, a single incentive can’t combine betting, casino, bingo and lottery (SR Code 5.1.1(3b)). The Commission says “Spend £5 on casino products and get 20 spins” is compliant, but “Bet £5 and get 20 free spins” is not.
- Slot stake limits. The most you can stake per online slot game cycle is £5 if you’re 25 or over and £2 if you’re 18–24. The £5 limit started on 9 April 2025 and the £2 limit on 21 May 2025. These limits apply to online slots only, not to roulette, blackjack or other table games.
- No credit cards. Since 14 April 2020, licensed operators can’t accept credit card payments for online gambling, including through e-wallets funded by a credit card.
Staying in control
Casino games are fast and continuous. Before you claim any offer, set a deposit limit (UK-licensed casinos must give you the tools), decide how much you’re prepared to lose, and turn on reality checks. Never deposit more to “unlock” a bonus you weren’t planning to play for anyway. If you want a break from all UK-licensed gambling sites at once, GamStop is free and lets you self-exclude for 6 months, 1 year or 5 years. The National Gambling Helpline (0808 8020 133) is free and confidential. More help is on our responsible gambling page.

Which UK casinos have no wagering free spins?

No wagering free spins: what to look for
No wagering free spins pay whatever they win straight into your cash balance. The terms that matter are the spin value (10p spins on a 100-spin offer is £10 of play), which game the spins are locked to, how long you have to use them, and whether there’s a cap on winnings. A “no wagering” label with a £20 win cap can be worth less than a 10x offer with no cap.
Free spins with no deposit or wagering: do they exist?
Free spins with no deposit or wagering are the combination people search for most, and the rarest. Some UK casinos do give a few spins on registration with winnings paid as cash, but they are small and short-lived. A casino giving away spins with no deposit and no wagering is handing out cash, so the few genuine examples are small (often 5 to 10 spins) and come with a low win cap. On 21 October 2026, none of the casino offers we list matched this. Midnite’s 100 spins need a £20 deposit and £20 staked (wagering on winnings not stated), and Unibet’s 300 spins need £30 deposited and staked with 10x wagering on winnings. Check the significant terms shown beside each offer above.
How the 10x cap changes things
Since 19 January 2026 the Gambling Commission has capped wagering on casino bonuses at 10x, and banned mixed-product offers. That makes the gap between no wagering and wagering offers smaller than it used to be. Our page on the new UK wagering limits has the detail, and our no deposit free spins guide covers spins without a deposit.
